Elena is an illustrator and graphic artist based in Auckland, New Zealand. Elena teaches art at the Waikato Chinese School. She also frequently contributes his writing and illustrations to Inkpage and MondayArt.

Elena’s fascination with the creative process, curiosity, and visual experience informs all of her work. Each piece is the part of an exploration in finding wit, surprise, honesty and joy in the world around us. For Elena, the work is play, and the play is work.
